Product Description

The “Charred” demitasse spoon is a designer demitasse spoon that has a solid round stem – it’s not “flatware” – and that is about 1/2” longer than the standard demitasse spoon. The charred demitasse spoon, while having a straight cylindrical stem, has a checkerboard pattern etched into the stem. This demitasse spoon, while heavy, has a sleek and modern look to it. And with its checkerboard pattern, it’s reminiscent of chess. While the surface of the demitasse spoon’s handle is checkered, its stem culminates in an orb at the end of its handle.

These “Charred” demitasse spoons are made of the highest quality 18/10 stainless steel, which have a highly polished finish. In addition to a relatively high level of chromium to insulate the steel from corrosive oxidation, these demitasse spoons have the highest level of nickel used in silverware, which gives your demitasse spoons their glimmering shine.

The Charred demitasse spoons are 5 ¼” long, an assertive length for a demure spoon. They’ll make an excellent addition to your home’s coffee bar and dining room set. They are well balanced with an even weight distribution, and feel good in the hand. These are great spoons for serving with your espresso. The handles of these demitasse spoons are plain, clean, and sleek – very modern.

Enjoy your demitasse, and enjoy your spoons! You and your guests are sure to find their simple elegance and perfect dimensions a (strangely) focal point on your table, nonetheless being a focal point without flagrant assertiveness. Their proportions and columnar spines make them modern and utilitarian. They are perfect to use with a well-balanced espresso – and perfect when having your espresso during a game of chess!
