Stainless Steel Thermally Insulated Decanter

Stainless steel thermally insulated coffee decanter (shown with Precision Brewer B-ID) has a brew-through lid, and will keep coffee hot for 4-6 hours. These decanters are made for use with models AT-TC and B-ID. Decanters should be preheated prior to use by filling with hot water (either using the hot-water spigot on the machine, or by doing a first "empty" brew cycle) and then emptying the water.

Not only is the use of thermal decanters more energy efficient than keeping coffee warm on a hotplate, but the coffee in a thermal decanter will not continue to "cook" (as on a hot plate), so it will retain its original full-bodied flavor without becoming bitter, and without boiling dry.

Decanters can be ordered with either Black or Orange tops to connote "regular" and "decaf" coffee. Specify "Black" (item # SS-1.9LR) or "Orange" (item # SS-1.9LD) when ordering.
