When you push the button corresponding to your drink of choice, the super automatic espresso machine freshly grinds the right amount of coffee to order, automatically packs it into an internal portafilter, automatically does the extraction, and then automatically dumps the used coffee grounds into an internal knockbox. All that you need to do is to keep water in the reservoir, keep whole roasted coffee beans in the hopper, and empty the internal knockbox whenever the machine tells you to.

The super automatic espresso machines have external steam wands that you can use to steam or froth milk for latte and cappuccino.
