Pallo Caffeine Wrench

The Pallo Caffeine Wrench is a multifunction tool that can be used for routine maintenance tasks. Each Pallo Caffeine Wrench comes with instructions that show how to do the following things:

• Wrench for the Tip of the Steam Wand - The three cutouts provide a tool for tightening or loosening 8mm, 12mm, or 13mm parts. This will fits nearly all wand tips. Do not overtighten this part when reinstalling. The 8mm wrench can also be used to remove the 8mm group bolt.
• Portafilter Basket Pry & Flat Head Screwdriver - One corner of the tool has the same tip as a flat-head screwdriver. Like any screwdriver, tt can also be used to pry out the portafilter basket. Simply insert pry under basket lip and turn the tool like a key to pop out the basket.
• Steam Wand Scraper - You should always keep your steam wand wiped clean. But if there is residue that you need to remove, first soften the residue in hot water, then use the tapered edge (the 8mm "wrench" part) to gently remove the residue.
• Soft Group Head Gasket Probe - The upper corner of the tool opposite the screwdriver head has a hard rubber tip that can be used to probe the group gasket to test freshness and flexibility. Can also be used to remove soft group gaskets for regular cleaning and maintenance and replacement. Will NOT work to remove E61-type pressure-fit group gaskets.
• Thermometer Calibration Adjustment Tool - No need to know where that tiny little plastic calibration tool went when you have Caffeine Wrench handy.
• Bottle Opener - The 12mm wrench opening has a notch to grab bottlecaps. Insert the edge of the bottlecap into this notch, and gently pull up on the handle to remove it.
• Rubber Coated Handle - Angled rubber coated handle makes it easy to hold, easy to pick up out of a drawer, and easy on the hands when using to loosen 8mm group bolts.
