The Impressa J6 is the first Jura J-series model and looks stunning in piano black. With its heavy duty chrome platform, it has a smaller footprint than some of the other Jura machines, but still retains many of the same features.

The 10-digit LED display alerts the user to its current status such as “Ready”, “Rinse” “Fill Water” “Clean Machine”, “Fill Beans”, etc. and also shows the coffee strength and cup size on demand. Additionally, it is available in five languages: English, Spanish, French, German and Dutch. The brewing area illuminates whenever you push a button and then the lights then turn off automatically if the machine has not been used for three minutes.

Six buttons are pre-programmed for your convenience (one espresso, two espresso, one coffee, two coffees, hot water and steam and all are individually programmable. In addition, the one cup button has four coffee strengths available and two coffee temperatures, and three hot water output temperatures. Cup sizes range from ½ oz. to 8 oz. for a single cup button, ½ oz. to 8 oz. for a double cup button (up to 16 oz. total), ½ oz. to 15 oz. for hot water and 2 to 120 seconds for the steam button.

The unique rotary dial allows the user to override the strength and cup size while brewing without changing the pre-programmed settings. The integrated rotary button has 11 different programming options available.
A 15-bar pump with a stainless steel-lined ThermoBlock ensures you the perfect high pressure extraction time and again! After brewing, the ThermoBlock automatically discharges any leftover water into the tray thereby ensuring every coffee starts with fresh water.
The J6 features two interchangeable frothing technologies – the dual frother plus (manual frothing) and the frothXpress (automatic frothing device). The dual frother plus is for traditional frothing and steaming with your frothing pitcher and has two settings. The frothXpress automatically siphons cold milk from your container and combines it with steam to deliver frothed or steamed milk directly into your cup.

A pre-infusion features gently moistens the coffee beans before brewing for that perfect crema espresso or coffee!
”Butterfly” design allows for height and width adjustable dual coffee spouts!
71 oz. water container, one of the largest for a compact machine. Water sensor alerts the user when water needs to be added.
A separate funnel for ground coffee allows you to make a “special flavored coffee” for a guest or even a decaf for the guest who doesn’t want the caffeine.
Large variable brewing chamber adjusts to hold between 5-16 grams of ground coffee capable of making up to two 8 oz. coffees at a time.
Integrated commercial solid steel conical burr grinder has 6 fineness settings from a very fine grind to a coarse grind. In addition, the bean hopper holds 9 oz. of beans. When the hopper gets low, a sensor alerts the user to add more beans. Additionally, the machine will not function without beans in the hopper.
Concealed storage compartment for dual frother plus and measuring scoop.
The unique Clearyl water care system removes chlorine, lead, aluminum and copper for a better tasting coffee. A special organic additive removes most calcium and eliminates the needs for decalcification. An electronic Clearyl cartridge change indicator makes sure you always have the best water possible.
Select from “continuous-on” or “auto-off” from ½ hour to 9 hours or manual off.
The J6 features a main power switch as well as an on/off switch. When the main power switch is “on”, the J6 can be programmed to turn itself on automatically in the morning so it’s ready when you are.
Cup size display is shown in either metric (milliliter) or non-metric (ounces).
Time is shown in either a.m., p.m. or 24-hour mode.
Two standby modes available: “always ready” or “energy saving standby”.
Automatic hot water rinse cycle cleans and preheats all internal parts.
The J6 alerts you when the spent coffee ground container needs emptying. It holds about 16 coffee portions.
Information module lets the user know how many cups of coffee are made with each coffee button and how often maintenance programs were used.
Five levels of water hardness settings so you can set the machine to your particular water hardness. Included is a water hardness indicator strip.
