The Impressa C9 One Touch espresso machine is an elegant, compact machine with a piano black finish accentuated with chrome and stainless steel accents. Although this machine has many of the same features of a larger machine, it will not take up a lot of room on your counter (it will fit under standard 16” wall cabinets). And with one touch of a button, you can make cappuccinos, café mochas and lattes without ever moving the cup. The C9 froths your milk, grinds the beans, tamps the coffee and brews under high pressure the very best tasting espresso or coffee.

A 14 oz. insulated thermal stainless steel milk container (included) will keep the milk cold for up to eight hours. Coffee, frothing and hot water functions are fully programmable and allows the user to set the temperature, volume and strength for each.

The LED display shows the user whether you are brewing a mild, regular or strong coffee and also shows the cup size while brewing. The C9 is capable of brewing one or two cups at a time and from a full ounce to 16 ounces. Out of water or beans? Not to worry – the machine will alert the user when to add more. A rotary dial allows the user to override the strength and cup size while brewing without changing the pre-programmed settings.

Some of the other features of this impressive machine include a commercial-grade conical burr grinder, automatic cleaning cycles and a Clearyl water filtration system which eliminates the need for decalcification and purifies the water. In addition a separate funnel accommodates ground coffee for the decaf drinker in your family or for the person who wants a flavored coffee.

The integrated solid steel conical burr grinder has six settings and allows you to adjust the grind from fine to coarse. In addition, the Impressa C9 grinds from 5 to a maximum of 16 grams of coffee (from milk to extra strong).

Clearyl water care system removes chlorine, lead, aluminum and copper. A special organic additive removes most calcium and eliminates the needs for decalcification.
A separate funnel for ground coffee allows you to make a “special flavored coffee” for a guest or even a decaf for the guest who doesn’t want the caffeine.
Auto cappuccino system automatically siphons milk from the thermal milk container and turns it into froth or steamed milk to make cappuccino or lattes. The temperature control dial lets the user increase "(+)" or decrease "(-)" the temperature of the milk.

The LED display lets you know when the spent coffee container needs emptying. It will also tell you how many cups of coffee you have made.
Five levels of water hardness settings so you can set the machine to your particular water hardness. Included is a water hardness indicator strip.
