Finum Large (1.8 Liter) Tea Pitcher with "Tea Control" Infuser

Elegant and sturdy, large tea pitcher holds 1.8 liters (60 oz.) and has a special "Tea Control" brew basket. The pitcher shape suggests use for iced-tea, and its transparency makes it excellent for leaving in the sun to brew "sun tea," although it can also be used to brew hot tea as well.

The "Tea Control" brew basket features a twist lid that you turn to stop the brewing. In the "brew" position, the infuser is open like any other infuser. When you turn the control, an internal mechanism pushes the leaves tightly against one side of the basket to force out the water and stop the brewing. This prevents the tea from over-steeping and becoming too strong and bitter.
