The FAEMA "Compact" line features machines with smaller footprints, when space is an issue. This line includes the smallest (1 group) Enova machines, and the new "Giugiaro," which is a newly restyled version of the older Smart machine.
The Enova is the low-end (for FAEMA - remember that it is still a FAEMA!) of the Traditional line. While the Enova 2-group and 3-group machines appear in the "Traditional" FAEMA section above, we have put the 1-group versions of the Enova here. Enova 1-group machines are different only in that they come standard as 110 Volt machines, since they don't require the nearly as much power as their big brothers.
The Enova can be ordered as an automatic (the Enova A1) or as a semiautomatic (the Enova S1) espresso machine. The automatic version has been heightened to accomodate tall (4.6 inch) cups. The semiautomatic version is a standard-height machine, and will not accomodate tall cups. The automatic Enova A1 can be ordered as a 220 Volt machine, and its steam wand can be upgraded to an AutoSteam system. Upgrading to the AutoSteam feature requires that the machine be a 220 Volt machine. The semiautomatic Enova S1 cannot be upgraded to 220 Volts, so cannot be upgraded to an AutoSteam system.
Finally, the new Giugiaro is a 2-group automatic espresso machine built with a small footprint. The FAEMA Giugiaro is a restyled and redesigned Smart. It comes only in the 2-group configuration, and features two steam wands.
