Commercial Espresso Machines

Commercial coffee equipment cannot be ordered on a "rush" basis. Please call or email to confirm availability, timeframe, installation requirements, and total price on all commercial equipment. Note that we must charge actual freight costs on commercial equipment. If you simply place an order and check out, freight costs will not appear, and we will add them to your order on shipment. If you want a freight quote prior to ordering, please contact us via email.

Our large commercial espresso machines do not ship "right off the shelf." They must be bench-tested for several days, and then crated and freighted. While you will likely get your espresso machine within 2-3 weeks, we can't guarantee this. You should allow as much as a month lead time when ordering a large commercial espresso machine. This is in case there is a backlog of machines to be tested, and in case we find things during test that should be addressed prior to shipping.

Large commercial espresso machines require installation - meaning connection to water, connection to 220 Volt service, and a floor drain. We will explain in detail what is required in the sections below, and we will arrange for installation for you. We know that it can be nerve-wracking when you are opening a shop. We don't want you to have any surprises, and we will take care of you.

Contact us prior to ordering for a better estimate on when you will likely be up and running. Note that sales on commercial espresso machines are final once they are installed, but we are committed to work with you to make sure that you are satisfied with your installation. At TheCoffeeBrewers, we will make sure that you understand what you need to do, and what you should expect before you buy. Make sure to read the details of whatever machine interests you. We take pains to explain what will happen, and what needs to be done.

TheCoffeeBrewers carries six premier brands of commercial espresso machines; La Pavoni, which started the entire commercial espresso machine industry just over a century ago (1905); FAEMA, which has been leading the commercial espresso machine industry with breakthrough innovations for over 60 years (since World War II); WMF of America, which has been distributing the highest quality commercial food service equipment to upscale hotels for over 150 years; Grindmaster, which is an American company that was founded in 1933, and that now makes a complete line of specialty beverage equipment including small commercial espresso machines; VFA Express, which is a well known (in Europe) Castillian newcomer to the American continent; and CoffeeStuff, which is an American newcomer breaking new ground in the design of commercial espresso machines with the American barista in mind.

Our prices on commercial espresso machines include a water softening unit, and a warranty. Prices do NOT include freight. Contact us for an estimate.

If you get a price quote on a commercial espresso machine from another website or dealer, make sure that you understand what that price does and does not include, and make sure that you understand what your other expenses will be in getting your commercial espresso machine installed and operational. We explain what those other expenses may be in the paragraphs below.

Our commercial espresso machine section is separated into subsections so that we can provide an overarching description of the brand or line within the section. But this section is also separated this way because the specifics of what is included in the price, and what services we will do and/or arrange for is different for each line of commercial espresso machines.

Before you buy, make sure that you have a full and clear understanding of what is and is not included in the price of your commercial espresso machine, and what else you will need to do to get your commercial espresso machine operational. To help you out, we have explained what else needs to be done, and what else needs to be purchased for each line of commercial espresso machines. Again, the deal is different for each different line.

When other things need to be purchased, or other work needs to be done to get your commercial espresso machine installed and operational, we've given you a rough idea what those things will cost so that you will have a pretty good idea of your total costs, and what you're getting into.

Especially if you are opening a coffee business, we know that the planning and scheduling of contractors can be very stressful and frustrating, and that you need to make every penny count. When you buy from us, we don't want you to be surprised later on with other things that you need to buy and/or do. We operate with several national chains of authorized installers and trained service professionals. If we don't do the installation ourselves, we will arrange your installation and service for you - unless you would like to make your own arrangements.

Before you buy a commercial espresso machine, please contact us so that we can be sure that the commercial espresso machine that you want is in our warehouse and ready to ship. We can then give you a very good idea of when you will receive your commercial espresso machine (we bench-test them before we ship them), and when your commercial espresso machine can be installed. We don't want any scheduling surprises for you when you buy a commercial espresso machine from us!

La Pavoni Commercial Espresso Machines

La Pavoni commercial espresso machines provide very robust performance and quality at a medium price-point in the commercial espresso machine industry (kind of like General Motors in the automotive industry).

The La Pavoni commercial espresso machine line features the largest boilers in the commercial espresso machine industry, which allows constant frothing from two steam wands simultaneously during peak business hours. We offer three lines of La Pavoni commercial espresso machines.

The La Pavoni Pub line of commercial espresso machines features the smallest footprint with the easiest installation (since it operates at 110 Volts) at the lowest price point. These commercial espresso machines have relatively small boilers, which make them more compact, and more suitable for pubs & bars, where the volumes (in espresso drinks) are not continuous. (The smaller boiler needs some recovery time after prolonged frothings.)

The La Pavoni Cafe offers a small footprint for a larger commercial espresso machine. These commercial espresso machines are ideal in medium sized coffee shops and espresso bars that could use a 2-group machine, but that need to make efficient use of counter space.

Last year, La Pavoni released a brand new, and flashier line of commercial espresso machines called the " La Pavoni Bar Star" line; a line of commercial espresso machines with several new features. In addition to having an exciting new look, the La Pavoni Bar Star commercial espresso machines are full sized espresso machines meant for busy shops. The larger boilers in these espresso machines allow for continuous frothing throughout your peak hours.

A particularly nice feature of this line of espresso machines is the 4-position power switch. It allows you to run the espresso machine at 2/3 power during your slow periods, which translates into big savings on your power bill.

FAEMA Commercial Espresso Machines

FAEMA commercial espresso machines offer exceptional performance and quality at the very high-end of commercial espresso machines (more analogous to Mercedez Bentz in the automotive industry. We offer two different FAEMA lines of commercial espresso machines.

The new FAEMA E61 commercial espresso machines have the classic and famous look of the original FAEMA E61, which set new standards in commercial espresso machines, and frankly, amazed the industry with several major innovations (that have become standard features in all high-end commercial espresso machines today) when it was first released in 1961.

But the new FAEMA E61 commercial espresso machines are fully modern, with many new innovations, but with the beautiful lines and styling of the original classic commercial espresso machines. Our "mainstream" line of FAEMA commercial espresso machines have a basic no frills rectangular look, but like the new FAEMA E61, they set the standards in quality within the commercial espresso machine industry.

Rancilio Commercial Espresso Machines

Rancilio is a company with a long tradition in premier-quality commercial espresso machines that dates back to the 1920s. After decades of growth and learning, Rancilio continues to offer products that are first in their class in design and technology.

They are built with the barista in mind.

Rancilio maintains an extensive network of service and installation specialists, all of whom are trained at the Rancilio Technical Training Institute. This ensures prompt and dependable customer service and an available supply of spare parts. The Coffee Brewers is proud to offer this extensive and innovative Rancilio line of commercial espresso machines.

Grindmaster Espressimo Commercial Espresso Machines

Grindmaster was founded in Louisville Kentucky in 1933 by Richard Schuhmann, who patented and manufactured his own line of coffee grinders. Now 75 years old, Grindmaster has grown into a large corporation that markets equipment in over 90 countries. Grindmaster originally expanded from coffee grinders to drip coffee brewers (see our section on Commercial drip coffee).

Grindmaster eventually extended its interests into all aspects of commercial specialty beverage equipment, either through original design, or by acquisition (e.g., Grindmaster acquired Crathco, and now features Cratho bubblers for cold drinks).

Grindmaster features three ultra rugged compact commercial espresso machines for the smaller shop in its "Espressimo" line. These are made in America with American components, and they meet the highest standards of commercial durability and design. They offer great quality at an attractive price point in a compact footprint. Two of the Espressimo" commercial espresso machines run on standard 110-120 Volt service to make installation a cinch. The third model uses 220 Volt service to enable quick boiler recovery to facilitate prolonged frothing in higher volume coffee shops.

VFA Express Commercial Espresso Machines

VFA Express is a family-run European company that is headquartered in Barcelona and is owned by Valentin Fuertes Aranda. VFA Express has more than 30 years experience in the design and production of commercial espresso machines, and is Spain's top producer of espresso machines. With offices worldwide, their continued family tradition has made the VFA Express name synonomous with reliability in more than 50 countries. This is a new entry by VFA Express on the American continent.

CoffeeStuff Commercial Espresso Machines

CoffeeStuff is an American newcomer to the commercial espresso machine industry. Their pedigree brings in many years experience working with many other Italian-made commercial espresso machines. The design was formulated based on that considerable experience installing, repairing, and using (as baristas) the most popular commercial espresso machines on the market in American coffee houses.

Since American espresso bars tend to offer a wider (and less classical) range of espresso-based drinks than do Italian espresso bars, there are many new features that are of use to American baristas that are not found in many of the Italian espresso machines. For eaxmple, setting the groupheads high allows taller cups (for your "to go" service) to be accomodated.

What CoffeeStuff has done is to add many little improvements in the placements, operations, and quality of many of the controls and fixtures. They have remade the concept of the commercial espresso machine in accordance with those elements of design and construction that make their commercial espresso machines both easier to use and easier to repair than any commercial espresso machine on the market.
