CoffeeStuff is an American-designed newcomer to the commercial espresso machine industry. Their pedigree brings in many years experience working with many other Italian-made commercial espresso machines. The design was formulated based on that considerable experience installing, repairing, and using (as baristas) the most popular commercial espresso machines on the market.
What CoffeeStuff has done is to add many little improvements in the placements, operations, and quality of many of the controls and fixtures. They have remade the concept of the commercial espresso machine in accordance with those elements of design and construction that make their commercial espresso machines both easier to use and easier to repair than any commercial espresso machine on the market. And they have used only the best materials in their commercial espresso machines so that repairs will not be nearly as frequent: brass instead of copper where possible, and steel instead of plastic.

We will also explain the other things that you will need to do and/or buy to get your machine installed and operational. This way, you will have a very good idea of your total costs, and of the likely schedule required to ship and install your espresso machine. We do not want you to have any surprises in this arena. Please call before ordering so that we can assure you (or not) that we have the espresso machine of your choice in stock, and so that we can give you a good idea of how quickly we can get it to you.
CoffeeStuff offers the "CoffeeStuff" commercial espresso machines, which are made for high-capacity restaurant use. The CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machines can be ordered in a 2-group or in a 3-group configuration. The CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machine is for large restaurants, espresso bars, and coffee houses in which there are pronolged "rushes" for espresso drinks.
Both CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machines take 50/60 Hertz electrical power at 220/240 Volts. Both CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machines feature TWO steam wands, so that two people can be frothing milk simultaneously. Both CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machines are fully automatic espresso machines, on which your shots can be preprogrammed. The CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machines feature:
The Coffeestuff commercial espresso machines were designed and manufactured with extreme forethought after many years servicing and using commercial espresso machines. Lots of thought went into every little detail. The CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machine is the first commercial espresso machine on the market to have a physical barrier (shield) between the electrical components and the heating elements. And in addition to the physical barrier (which is also a thermal barrier), the Coffeestuff commercial espresso machine has an internal fan to keep the electrical components cool - just like in a computer - so that they will last a long time.
The steam pressure on the CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machine is higher and faster than that of any commercial espresso machine on the market. The steam wands have oversized steam tips, and use a higher wattage heating element than other commercial espresso machines.
Like most commercial espresso machines, the CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machines have been designed with "twist knobs" for turning on the steam. But in addition, CoffeeStuff has designed in another option. The "twist knows" are also "pull knobs!" The barista has his or her choice of twisting or pulling the control knob for steam. This is great for purging the boiler at closing, and also for those with wrist problems. Simply pull the knob straight towards you (or twist it) and out comes the steam!
In the CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machines, the portafilters and the temperature of the group head were designed for optimum espresso extraction. This is noticeable at the moment that you begin your shot. The CoffeeStuff portafilter is specifically designed to encourage the espresso to "bloom" in the group, which creates more crema per shot of espresso for any kind of coffee.
The CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machine was designed with lots of clearance under the group heads both to make the commercial espresso machine easier to clean, and to allow for the use of paper cups. But the CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machine also comes with a riser that fits under the groups so that you can keep your shot glass or demitasse cups close to the group heads. This prevents ugly splatters that effect the professional appearance of your extractions.
CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machines feature an automatic backflush operation that makes it very easy to do, so that your staff will have no excuses about neglecting this important step at closing. You simply insert the cleaner and hit a button to clean the machine at night. The more you maintain your commercial espresso machine, the longer it's life, and the fewer costly repairs are needed. Why not make it easier for your employees to protect the lifetime of your equipment?
The CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machine body is 100% stainless steel. The pressure gauges on the front panel are lit up, which gives the commercial espresso machine a very modern look. Increased clearance between the drain tray and the group head allows you to brew directly into paper cups for a convenient "to go" serving.
The CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machines come in an elegant matte black finish on the back and side panels, with stainless steel working face.
Most commercial espresso machines on the market have a hot water wand for Americanos, tea, and cleaning, although many baristas avoid using them. This is because on many commercial espresso machines, when you turn on the hot water, uneven pressure causes the hot water to spurt out and splash the barista.
The CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machine has been designed so that the hot water spigot works just like the hot water tap on your sink. Hot water comes out quickly, but with no splatters. Another new "safety & comfort" feature of the CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machines is "cool touch" attachments on the steam wands. Now you can grab the steam wands and move them around without burning your fingers.
The standard features of both CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machines are:
The prices listed in the table above include the commercial espresso machine itself, an 8 liter water softening unit, and a 1-year limited warrany. Freight is not included. Please call for an estimate. Specifically, prices above include:
We can arrange the installation for you, or you can do it yourself.
When your CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machine arrives, it needs to be installed, and if you aren't sure how to use a commercial espresso machine, you need to be shown. (You will be able to figure it out yourself by reading some of the articles about commercial espresso machines on our site. Being shown is merely quicker. We recommend that you read these articles on commercial espresso machines and on running a coffee shop too.) We will arrange for the installation of your commercial espresso machine, or you can have it done yourself. Our installers will provide about an hour of training as part of the installation of your commercial espresso machine.
For us to provide installation, your site must be installation-ready for a commercial espresso machine. This means that there has to be a high-voltage (220 Volt - 240 Volt) outlet, a water outlet, and a floor drain (as per your local health code) near your commercial espresso machine. Specifically:
You will have to have these things in place before our people come to install your commercial espresso machine. The person doing the installation of your commercial espresso machine will probably not be a licensed electrician and/or a licensed plumber, although they might be.
Generally speaking, putting in an electricity, water, and a drain are not included as part of the installation. For installation of our CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machines, we work with a national network of installers and service providers. These are independent businesses. When you buy a CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machine from us, we will contact your local installer for you, and arrange for them to contact you to set up an installation date.
As we've said, the installers are independent businesses near you. They will bill you separately and independently for installation. Our role is to put you in contact. All of them are authorized and trained to install and repair CoffeeStuff commercial espresso machines. If you like the service that they give you, you can use them for service and maintenance. If not, we will work to find you someone else near your location.
You must arrange for electricity and water with your own electrician and/or plumber ahead of installation of your commercial espresso machine. We will be happy to discuss what's required with them if you aren't sure. If these things have not been done by the time that your installer arrives, they will not be able to do the installation, and they will have to make a second trip. Depending on the installer, you might be billed a "nuissance fee" for this.
Note that the commercial espresso machine will come without a plug at the end of the power cord. This is because there are different outlet conventions for high-voltage circuits, so there is no "standard" plug for 220-240 Volts. Part of the installation procedure for your commercial espresso machine is to put a plug on the power cord that matches your outlet. If you will be doing the installation of your commercial espresso machine yourself, you will have to provide this plug.
Here are the additional expenses that you will incur in getting your commercial espresso machine operational.
Most all coffee shops grind their coffee fresh. We have two models of La Pavoni commerial coffee grinders, and four models of FAEMA commercial coffee grinders. Check out the "Coffee Grinders" section inside our "Commercial" section for details and prices.
To provide full service of cappuccino and latte in addition to plain espresso, you will need some standard barista supplies: frothing pitchers, frothing thermometers, tampers, etc. You may also want some standard tools and cleaning supplies that are used in the daily maintenance of your commercial espresso machine. See our "Barista Supplies and Maintenance" section inside our "Commercial" section. Depending on your store, you might want real cups, saucers, and spoons. Check out our "Cups & Saucers" section.
If you have any questions, or want recommendations or suggestions based on your particular situation, don't hesitate to drop us a note, or give us a call.
